Capital's Summertime Ball is a mini-festival hosted in London by the radio station Capital, typically on the first or second Saturday or Sunday of June. The inaugural event took place at the Emirates Stadium in 2009 and has mostly been held at Wembley Stadium since then. The 2020 edition was scheduled to occur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium due to Wembley's commitments to Euro 2020, but it was ultimately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The festival is promoted and broadcast by the Capital network and has had various sponsors over the years. Barclaycard was the initial sponsor in 2009, followed by ASOS.com in 2010, Starbucks in 2011, and Vodafone UK from 2012 to 2018. Apple Music took over in 2019, with Barclaycard returning as the sponsor in 2022, marking a return since their first sponsorship in 2009.

Looking ahead to 2024, the Summertime Ball is set to take place on Sunday, June 16. This year's event will be hosted by Jordan North for the first time, following his recent move to Capital in April 2024 after Roman Kemp's departure. Chris Stark and Sian Welby will join North as co-hosts. The event details and ticket sales announcement were made on The All New Capital Breakfast show on Friday, April 26, with tickets going on sale on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. The exciting lineup was revealed on April 29 and 30 at 7 a.m. during the breakfast show.

The 2024 Summertime Ball will feature a stellar array of artists, including David Guetta, Perrie Edwards, Jax Jones, Bradley Simpson, Benson Boone, Caity Baser, Rudimental, Sabrina Carpenter, Meghan Trainor, Aitch, Ella Henderson, Paul Russell, Becky Hill, Sugababes, and Raye. This lineup promises to deliver an unforgettable musical experience, continuing the tradition of spectacular performances at the Summertime Ball.
